A delightful castle retreat
Woken by the fragrant aroma of coffee brewing in the grand hall, we strolled through beautifully kept gardens. The dinner was gourmet, an experience that was perfectly paired with local wines.
The only downside was the limited electrical outlets in the room, which made charging our devices a bit of a hassle.

Broholm Castle’s historical ambiance captivated me as an art historian. The gourmet dinner showcased local flavors, while the attentive staff made me feel welcomed. Only a last-minute canceled horseback riding appointment impacted my stay slightly, but exploring the lovely grounds compensated for it beautifully.

Unique historical ambiance with antique decor throughout. The dining experience truly stood out, featuring gourmet meals made from local ingredients, with dinner and breakfast both receiving high praise.
Navigating between rooms and the restaurant requires trips outside, which can feel inconvenient, especially in colder weather. Noise disturbances from the restaurant and other guests echo through the walls, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Some of the decor felt outdated, and the lack of a mini fridge or TV caught me off guard given the hotel's expectations.

Gourmet dining with local ingredients.
The family room's kitchen was disgustingly dirty, which made our stay feel unwelcoming. Noise from the restaurant continued until midnight and started again at 4 AM, ruining our sleep. Additionally, the incessant clock ringing every hour was incredibly annoying, making it difficult to relax during our visit.

A perfect location for our road trip. The ambiance in the historical castle was unique, and the food was top-notch. We particularly loved the dinner and the local produce used. Additionally, we enjoyed visiting the nearby stone age museum.
While we enjoyed our stay, the service at times felt a bit disorganized, especially during our arrival when we had to navigate through cleaning staff.

A Unique Blend of History and Comfort
Our stay was truly enchanting, enjoying the charm of an authentic seventeenth-century manor, along with exquisite gourmet dinners made from local ingredients. The surroundings with the tranquil moat and beautiful gardens provided a picturesque backdrop for relaxation. The staff were exceptionally attentive, and the afternoon tea experience with fresh ginger added a delightful touch. One suggestion would be to offer a bit more variety in the dinner menu for longer stays.
